Saturdays just got even better
I just love Saturdays at the bakery.
You just never know what will happen during the lunch rush.
You know Griff and I got married in between
super chicken sandwiches right in front of the coca cola case
and last weekend our sweet & lovely Saturday cashier
Brandi got engaged right at the bakery counter.
Her fabulous & handsome beau Andrew dropped down
on one knee and proposed right next to the busy
bakery counter as a line of people looked on.
Thankfully one customer snapped a photo for us.
Ah..what a kodak moment it was. We are all still so giddy
about it. Andrew picked the perfect place to pop that
gorgeous vintage ring on her finger especially since
this is the place the courtship all began.
Brandi is so creative and delightful to work with and she
certainly deserves all the great things coming her way.
It was just like a scene from a movie.
Congratulations to Brandi & Andrew and
thanks for sharing such a happy moment in our
little bakery.

awwwww that made me all teary eyed! Congrats to both! What a great place to start a relationship: at a bakery. Im sure their life together will be just as sweet as your pastries!

I just came across this...I know it was posted a while ago but this is too unbelievably cute!!
So let me get this straight - you have a bakery in Savannah, GA? TOO COOL! I just discovered your blog and you had me at the Paula Deen post. She reminds me so much of my mother, I can't not love her to pieces.
One of my goals for 2008 is to take my husband to some of the best spots in the South (which I still don't think he fully appreciates, Colorado boy that he is.) Savannah is on my list of places to take him. Perhaps we will make your bakery one of our stops!
