My favorite part about being a guest
on the Paula Deen show was the
one on one time spent with Paula.
It's not every day an opportunity
like this comes along, and still the
only word I can think of to describe
the taping of the show is surreal.

Paula Deen is one of the most authentic,
kind hearted women I have ever met.
She invited me into her home with
open arms.

We chatted about the hard work that
comes along with running a food
business and we were both fascinated
with all the things we have in common
like losing our parents at an early age
and how it has shaped our life.

It is always nice to meet someone
that can relate and understand
what it feels like to have to
figure things out on your own.

She gave me invaluable advice
about business, life and
the angels that watch over me.
She is truly a inspiration to me
as well as anyone making a
dream from scratch.
