Mmmm...
Back in 1998(I was 14)I had read an article about Cc Cafe in a magazine and clipped it out to save b/c the cupcakes were so beautiful. So,when my mother went to NYC that Christmas, my only request was that she bring me back cupcakes from the Cafe and of course, being the wonderful motherr she is, my mom made a special trip to the Cafe just before catching her flight home to me and when I greeted her at the gate in the Tampa Airport- she was carrying a box of the most beautifully decorated Christmas cuocakes- they had giant poinsettias & sweet little reindeer faces adorning the top of each one & boy were they good. This was my first real cupcake experience outside of my momma's kitchen & since then there have been many many more (most of them at Back in the Day!!).
What a fun & yummy filled trip you had- you lucky duck!
